  Notes	Around 1880 the children of Martin and Marianna changed the spelling of their names to BEST Cemetery plot record for Peter, Martin, Michael M. and Charles A. lists two un-identified Martin's - dates of death: October 8, 1864 and June 5 1865. I have no Martin's with those death dates in my list. Am wondering if they might be infants of Martin and Marianne Haberkorn Berst? [1]

• Photos	Martin Berst watch.jpg The watch was given by Martin to his son, George Anthony. George gave it to his daughter, Katherine (Haws) who he lived with in his old days. It then passed to Melvin, her son and then to his son, Hugh Haws. Hugh passed away in 2006 and the watch was passed on to one of his daughters.
